It's finally here!

Kia ora koutou katoa, e hoa ma! After two+ years of simply being called 'NO MORE HEROES 2', I'm very happy to be finally bringing you both the title and cover of the second instalment to the Vigverse! So without further ado, as a reverse birthday present from me to you, may I present...

Ta-da! And there we have it – the long awaited ingoa for pukapuka te rua of the Team City saga .Set six months after the events of Book 1, HELL OR HIGH WATER will see the Vigilantes of the City facing new dangers in unknown territory when they receive an unexpected summons from an unlikely source.

Synopsis:

The peaceful nights are kept under the clandestine and watchful eye of young, gifted Vigilantes the world over – and since the Vigilante Killers were taken down six months ago, order has returned to the community once more. Vigilantes everywhere have resumed their usual rhythm, defending their domains within the safety of the shadows, and all is right with the world.

So when an old enemy resurfaces and asks them for their help, the Vigilantes of the City are reluctant, to say the least. But some offers are hard to turn down, and soon Team City find themselves diving headlong into a mystery that will test their limits, their capabilities as Vigilantes, and their relationships with each other.

HELL OR HIGH WATER is an urban fantasy action/adventure novel about young, would-be heroes who find that sometimes camaraderie can come from the least likely of alliances… and strength can be found in the most unexpected of places.

Preorders of NO MORE HEROES: HELL OR HIGH WATER will come with a bonus short story, THE STUFF OF LEGEND, which will present an alternate perspective on the events of Book 2, and a lone Vigilante’s experience with a long-lost Urban Legend of the Vigilante community.

As with NO MORE HEROES, HELL OR HIGH WATER is #OwnVoices for Asian/Chinese, ADD, Anxiety/Depression, Aro/Ace-spec and Genderfluid rep – some of which will be newly stated on-page in Book 2. There's be a diverse cast of characters! Mystery! Parkour and fight scenes! And most importantly, Camaraderie and The Power of Friendship! We'll also be learning more about the Vigilante community and the kind of individuals that make up its community, as well as more about the Vigilantes of Team City whom we've come to know and love.

HELL OR HIGH WATER has been in the works for a long time now, but every day I get closer and closer to finishing it, and I'm super looking forward to be able to share it with you all. At this stage, because of the unpredictability my freelance work, I don't have a set pub date, but I'm very much hoping to be able to release it to the world (in print and ePub/Kindle!) in early to mid 2019.*​
